In August 2013 we made an incredible transformation to the Factory Theatre with an upgrade of brand new comfortable seating.
You can still be a part of this momentous point in our history by sponsoring one of the last remaining seats!
In recognition of your support, you will be able to dedicate a plaque which will be displayed in the Factory Theatre Bar for the next 7 years. You may have noticed our beautiful dedication wall adjacent to the bar. We have had some fantastic dedications so be sure to have a look at the wonderful wall of messages and names, in recognition of our seating supporters.
There are two levels of donation:
£150 for red plaques
£300 for gold plaques
How to donate:
Online: go to our donations page and enter £150 or £300 into the ‘Seating Appeal Donations’ amount box.
Box Office: call 0117 902 0344 to pay via credit/debit card.

We’d like to send a huge thank you to everyone who has already donated to the seating appeal. Each and every donation, whether large or small, has helped us to transform the seating in our Factory Theatre and is really appreciated. The investment in new seating was undertaken to increase audience capacity, to improve customer comfort and to improve sightlines in the theatre auditorium, whilst retaining the character and flexibility for which the space is known.
As a registered charity, we received £122,000 towards the new seating from the Arts Council England, a £30,000 grant from BIFFA Award, £10,000 from Bristol City Council and £10,000 from the Southall Charitable Trust.

We also received £138,000 from 350 incredible members of the public who sponsored a seat and business donors, including DAC Beachcroft, and thirty three individuals who made significant contributions.
