HOW TO LEAVE A LEGACY TO TOBACCO FACTORY THEATRES
Leaving a gift to Tobacco Factory Theatres is relatively straightforward. You can choose to leave a fixed amount to Tobacco Factory Theatres or a share of your residuary estate.
If you have already made a will but want to leave a legacy to us you can make an addition to your will without re-writing it. This addition is called a codicil. Here are two examples of how you may wish to phrase a codicil:
Leaving a share of your estate to Tobacco Factory Theatres
I give (specify ‘all’ or ‘state’ percentage share) of my residuary estate to Tobacco Factory Arts Trust, Raleigh Road, Bristol BS3 1TF, Registered Charity no. 1097542 absolutely for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Director or other authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.
Leaving a fixed amount to Tobacco Factory Theatres
I give the sum of (amount in figures or words) to Tobacco Factory Arts Trust, Raleigh Road, Bristol BS3 1TF, Registered Charity no. 1097542 absolutely for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Director or other authorised officer shall be a full and sufficient discharge to my executors.
