GET ON STAGE: Regular acting classes for our community
Tobacco Factory Theatres is proud to launch its very first weekly company for adults!
Exclusively delivered by our Artistic Director Mike Tweddle and assisted by Jenny Davies (Assistant Director on The Borrowers and A Midsummer Night’s Dream) this is your opportunity to learn new performance skills, develop a new piece of theatre and perform in our Spielman Theatre. All this plus the chance to visit the rehearsal room of our upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, attend acting masterclasses with our cast, and be invited to press night.
We look forward to meeting you if you are…
- Aged 19 or older
- Passionate about acting and theatre
- Keen to explore the process of creating a performance
- Not a professional performer or currently in training
Sessions will run from January – May 2019 on Tuesday evenings, 8pm – 10pm, with additional rehearsals scheduled in April to prepare for performances in May (see below for more details).
