The average person will speak 123,205,750 words in a lifetime. But what if there were a limit? Bernadette and Oliver are about to find out.

Walrus’ award-winning debut show imagines a world where we’re forced to say less; examining how we express ourselves, personally and politically, through the lens of one couple’s relationship. It’s about what we say and how we say it; about the things we can only hear in the silence; about dead cats, activism, eye contact and lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons, lemons.

First performed at Warwick Arts Centre, and recipient of three Judges’ Awards at the National Student Drama Festival, Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons Lemons arrives at Tobacco Factory Theatres after a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe and London dates at Camden People’s Theatre.

Walrus is a young company made up of graduates from the University of Warwick. This is their debut production and it’s gone down a storm, so we’re delighted to present it to Bristol audiences.
