SWEET
Slumber Parties are for teenage girls. And famous dead men.
At Alexandra’s sixteenth birthday slumber party things are getting weird. Margot is being a prize b*tch, Zoe has admitted to the weirdest celebrity crush and Becky keeps ordering pizza so she can hit on the delivery guy. Then the party gets crashed by nine of the greatest thinkers and artists from history. All men. All dead.
Will Alexandra’s house make it through unscathed? Will William Shakespeare throw up behind the sofa? And will anyone snog Nietzsche? We hope not.
A play that explores whether we stand on the shoulders of giants or the shoulders of perverts, narcissists and weirdos, and whether teenage girls should really show respect for their elders. Devised by YTM 14:19 Company for Tobacco Factory Theatres.
