The Jamie Wood Trilogy: Beating McEnroe

    About

International art clown Jamie Wood rolls into town for one week only with his uniquely anarchic blend of comedy, performance and clowning.

Beating McEnroe Bjorn Borg epitomised tennis cool and was everything Jamie and his brother wanted to be. Then John McEnroe came along. Beating McEnroe is about rivalry and love and how they can both better us and destroy us.

The other two shows in The Jamie Wood Trilogy are:

    O No! Wed 13 & Thu 14 February
A psychedelic ride and wonky homage to the woman damned for destroying The Beatles, which asks whether falling in love is always catastrophic.

    I Am A Tree Fri 15 February
When Jamie is still for any length of time, someone finds him and tells him about their life. I Am A Tree is an invitation to drink deep, face the shadows that growl inside you and laugh big.
